These filters can be used for fluorescence and absorbance applications, but luminescence applications require specialized luminescence filters. For fluorescence applications we recommend at least thirty nanometers between excitation and emission wavelengths for proper blocking between the filters. With a separation of less than thirty nanometers you may experience poor performance resulting in high backgrounds and compromised limits of detection.
These filters can be used on all FLUOstar and POLARstar microplate readers.
